The Student Ambassador program offers a variety of benefits that promote student development. These benefits are:

Scholarship: Earn up to $2,000 per semester.

Leadership Opportunities: Represent Central Piedmont at recruitment events and exclusive college activities.

Community Engagement: Participate in meaningful service projects.

Personal Growth: Build real-world skills like communication, teamwork, and professionalism.

Make an Impact: Help prospective and current students feel welcomed and informed.
Eligibility
To be considered, you must:

have a minimum 3.0 GPA
-
have completed at least 18 college credits at Central Piedmont by the end of the spring semester
-
be enrolled in at least 9 credit hours during fall and spring semesters
-
have at least one academic year remaining at Central Piedmont
-
be a team player with strong interpersonal skills

NOTE - Students cannot be part of the following cohort programs: Bridge to Careers, Honeywell, Opportunity Scholars, Ruth G. Shaw, or Truist Honors Programs.
How to Apply

Get Invited
Eligible students will receive an email invitation to attend an Interest Session and apply to the program.

Submit Your Application
Applications open at the end of February and close in March. Use your Central Piedmont student email to apply and include:
-Two recommendation letters
-Unofficial transcript
-Professional resumeIncomplete applications will not be considered.

Interview
If selected, you’ll be invited to interview with a selection committee consisting of Outreach and Recruitment staff and current Student Ambassadors.
