West coast subs and the Manhattan sandwich shop society flavors collide at Beach & Borough Sandwich Shop. Select one of our signature sandwiches or build your own with your choice of artisanal breads, all-natural cheeses, colorful veggies, clean label meats and fresh in-house made spreads, pickles and chips.

Hen & Steer Breakfast is a creative twist on breakfast classics that pays tribute to farmhouse favorites. Enjoy breakfast sandwiches and signature handhelds customized your way. Hen & Steer Gastrogrill features chef inspired signature burgers, sandwiches, sausages and chef prepared pub specialties. You choose your style of a freshly made all natural beef, turkey or veggie burger, to our happy pastured hand dipped or grilled chicken sandwiches and tenders. We source our ingredients from local farmers, ranchers, and bakers whenever possible and include fresh seasonal ingredients in all of our specials. Traditional pizza pies meet futuristic flavors at Cosmos Pizza where we offer on-demand custom made pizza ready in minutes. Using only premium ingredients, our hand-stretched dough is topped with premium sauces and the freshest ingredients. We offer your favorite traditional style pizzas as well as chef-inspired flavors. Don't forget to try some of our hand-tied garlic knots, limited time offer specials, or signature salads.

Order ahead is available at all Central Piedmont food/dining locations. Pay with your phone using our new "Connect & Pay" app that also lets you skip the line and order ahead. All food service locations are cashless, so payments for food, grab and go items, and beverages can be made only through credit/debit cards when using the app.
The Connect & Pay app allows you to order and customize your favorite campus specialty beverages and food selections, pay, and then pick up at a time that is convenient for you. You can also see current promotions, rewards, and offers.

The Connect & Pay app can also load money to your account from a debit or credit card for future use at our Canteen on-campus dining locations. If you only have access to cash, vouchers for our campus dining locations are available for purchase at the Cashiering Business Office on the Cato, Central, Harper, Harris, Levine and Merancas Campuses.
Vouchers may be purchased in $5 and $10 increments. Vouchers can be combined or added with Connect & Pay or card payments to complete a transaction. The remaining balance of the voucher will be printed on your receipt. At this time, vouchers can’t be added to the Connect & Pay app.
Please note:
Central Piedmont has vending machines on all campuses stocked with food, drinks, and snacks for your grab-n-go snack needs.
Help us keep our vending machines in proper working order. If you have experienced a recent vending machine malfunction, please let us know by emailing canteencsrv@compass-usa.com, providing the campus, building, floor/location, and type of machine (e.g., snack, drink, etc.). To request a refund for money lost due to a malfunctioning vending machine, please go to any Central Piedmont Cashier's office.
