Student Prepared Dining Options

Central Piedmont has two student-prepared dining options: the Aspire Bakery and Bistro on Harris Campus and the upscale Greenway Restaurant on Central Campus. Come support our students and enjoy their talents.

Greenway Restaurant

If you’re looking for more upscale fare, we encourage you to visit Greenway, where Central Piedmont culinary students will prepare and serve you a three-course lunch that is both satisfying and flavorful. 

  • About the Greenway Restaurant

    Central Piedmont's reservation-only Greenway Restaurant opened February 2012 in the Philip L. Van Every Culinary Arts Center on our Central Campus. While the venue’s hours of operation are limited to accommodate our culinary students’ academic schedules, you will not be disappointed with its quality or customer service.     For just $12 (plus tax payable by credit card or debit card only), you can enjoy our three-course contemporary lunch which includes a variety of selections sure to satisfy any palate. Reservations required.

  • Greenway Restaurant Hours and Reservations

    Greenway's hours of operation are limited to accommodate our culinary students’ academic schedules. Greenway is open for lunch on the following dates, with seating available at 11:30 a.m. and noon. Please limit your reservation to one table per semester. Guests should expect to be in the dining room for a minimum of one hour.

    • Thursday, September 26

    We begin accepting reservations on Monday, September 16 at 9 a.m. Make a reservation for the Greenway Restaurant online.

  • Greenway Restaurant Reservation Policy

    • Please do not consider your reservation confirmed until you receive a confirmation email.
    • Note that we have limited tables available, and they do fill up very quickly. Please limit your reservation to one table per semester. If there is a double booking, the second reservation will be cancelled.
    • As a courtesy to our students, please arrive on time for your reservation – learning how to promptly prepare and serve is part of their classroom experience.
    • We are able to accept payment with credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, American Express) or debit cards only.
    • We do not have booster seats or highchairs.
    • Food cannot be packaged for carryout.
    • If you need to cancel your reservation, please email greenwayrestaurant@cpcc.edu within 48 hours.
    • Late or incomplete parties may not be able to be seated.
    • Central Piedmont is a culinary training facility and therefore uses ingredients in foods that may cause or irritate food allergies. Central Piedmont cannot identify or guarantee allergens in the food served. Customers concerned with food allergies must be aware of this risk. Central Piedmont cannot assume any liability for adverse reactions to food consumed or items one may come in contact with while eating at any Central Piedmont facility or catered event.

    Parking is complimentary! Headed east on North Kings Drive, parking is available right after you cross Elizabeth Avenue. Turn right when you see the sign: “Visitor Parking Lot 31, Greenway Restaurant, Philip L. Van Every Culinary Arts Center.” This turn is before you reach Armory Drive.

Aspire Bakery and Bistro

Aspire is a self-supported Baking & Pastry Arts student life project. All proceeds benefit the purchasing of goods or supplies, student scholarship opportunities, student activities, and extracurricular educational opportunities.

  • About Aspire Bakery and Bistro

    Aspire is also a work-based learning opportunity for any student currently enrolled in the Baking & Pastry Arts, Culinary Arts, or Hospitality Management programs. The students have an opportunity to gain experiences and learn skills that will enhance their development moving into the industry upon graduation. Aspire focuses on high production, time management, detail orientation, exemplary customer service skills, and much more,

    • Hours: Monday —Thursday, 8 a.m. — 6 p.m.
  • Aspire Bakery and Bistro Menu

    Aspire features artisan style breakfast pastries, freshly brewed daily coffees, handcrafted salads, and gourmet sandwiches on artisan style breads. It also boasts an assortment of baked goods and desserts. All food is produced in-house and baked fresh daily by Aspire’s work-based learning students. Aspire implements a new menu every two weeks to offer a great variety to guests. An updated Aspire Bakery and Bistro menu is available on Facebook.  Aspire also offers on-campus catering or pick-up catering for small groups.
