Orientation

Orientation

Central Piedmont provides new student orientation to help you feel prepared for your new academic journey.

New Student Orientations

Orientation is a required part of the enrollment process for all degree-seeking and transfer students who applied on or after October 21, 2019. Orientation is optional for visiting students. Once you have a Central Piedmont login, sign up for orientation. New student orientation lasts about two hours and will help you:

  • review next steps
  • navigate the Central Piedmont website
  • explore programs and careers
  • learn about programs and services to support you and help you get involved

Orientation is held at every campus, every week of the year. It is also offered online and by request. If you can't attend a scheduled session, email fye@cpcc.edu or call 704.330.6100 for other options.

Register for a new student orientation session.

If you will need a sign language interpreter for this orientation, please email disability.counselingservices@cpcc.edu or call 704.330.6621. For more information, visit the Disability Services site.

After completing orientation, we ask that you please give us your feedback by completing the new student orientation survey.

Some programs have additional orientation sessions you will be required to attend if you enroll in that program.
