Orientation

Central Piedmont provides new student orientation to help you feel prepared for your new academic journey.

New Student Orientations

Once we have your official transcripts, you can schedule orientation. Orientation includes Advising and registration. That means you will need to submit your official high school and college transcripts before attending Orientation. Orientation is also a required step. If you are a returning student who completed orientation in the past, you can schedule a separate Academic Advising session by emailing the Advising department.

Orientation will also help you decide which careers and programs you are interested in, and is held online and in-person on our six campuses. If you can't attend a scheduled session, contact the student success navigators for other options.

Register for a new student orientation session.

If you will need a sign language interpreter for this orientation, please contact Disability and Access Services.

Some programs have additional orientation sessions you will be required to attend if you enroll in that program.
