CLIMB & Mayer Brown Small Business Legal Clinic
The CLIMB & Mayer Brown Small Business Legal Clinic offers free, virtual, one-hour legal consultations for entrepreneurs working with the Small Business Center at Central Piedmont.
Participants will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with one to two experienced business law attorneys to receive practical guidance on key legal issues that impact small businesses.

Attorneys can provide guidance and answer questions related to:
- Choosing the right corporate structure for your business
- Governing documents such as Articles of Incorporation, partnership agreements, and operating agreements
- Creating and negotiating contracts and customer/vendor agreements
- Basic intellectual property protection
- Employment and regulatory compliance questions
- Securing capital from lenders or investors
- Entering into business partnerships or mergers
This clinic is designed to help entrepreneurs identify potential legal risks and understand how to mitigate them before they become obstacles to growth.
