Central Piedmont teaches classes in a variety of formats that are flexible to your schedule and learning style. Here’s how to understand the course name and section on your class schedule. Use this information as you are searching for classes in MyCollege.

Delivery Methods

  • B: Blended (1-50% online)
  • H: Hybrid (51-99% online)
  • N: Online (100% online)
  • T: Traditional (100% in person)

Example: ENG-111-B624

  • ENG: Area of study
  • 111: Course number
  • B: Delivery method
  • 624: Section number

The section number explains the campus and meeting time details. In this example, ENG 111 is a blended class with some online work and will meet in-person on:

  • Merancas Campus, in Merancas IV, Room 103
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays
  • 9:30-10:45 a.m.
  • March 13-May 9, 2023
