Printing

  • PRX 7012 Flexographic Concepts

    This is the perfect overview class for anyone wanting to learn more about the basic concepts of Flexographic printing. You will learn what the Flexography industry is, how the process works, what products are printed this way, and why. The class will guide you through platemaking, mounting, setting up and press, and producing your own print. You will have a printed product that you can take with you. Emphasis on press-room safety and organization will be stressed. Traditional lecturing and hands-on production will go together and you should expect to work in a production environment. Please wear closed-toed shoes, sturdy work clothing, and have hair worn in a pulled-back fashion.

  • PRX 7032 T-Shirt Design and Printing

    This screen printing overview class is designed for anyone who wants to learn more about the screen printing process. Our Graphic Arts and Imaging Technology staff will walk you through this class where you will get to go from concept to printed product. We keep the class size small to maximize the hands on time. If you work in any aspect of printing, this is a good textile-based class for both the beginner and the novice or anyone wanting to learn more.
