Get an affordable teeth cleaning and other dental services at the Central Piedmont dental clinic. Open to the public.

The dental clinic helps train our dental hygiene program students. Our faculty supervise students as they provide services.

Dental Services

Services cost $35 total.

  • dental x-rays

  • oral prophylaxis (plaque and tartar removal)

  • non-surgical periodontal therapy

  • coronal polishing

  • fluoride treatment

  • sealants

Become a Patient

  • Screening (Free)

    You will do a comprehensive medical/dental history reviewed by the clinic dentist. This includes an oral assessment is completed to figure out how difficult of a treatment is needed.

    We do screenings on a walk-in basis Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. or 12:30 p.m. (summer) or Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 8:30 a.m. or 12:30 p.m. (fall and spring). Please call ahead to confirm hours before traveling to the clinic.

    There is no fee for this screening.

  • Assignment

    We will assign you to one of our students based on what students need for their program requirements. You might not be assigned immediately.

  • Appointment Scheduled

    Once we assign you to a student, we will schedule you an appointment based on student requirements. Appointments typically last up to three hours. You may need multiple appointments.

    You will need to pay the $35 fee when you arrive for your appointment(s).
