Open to the public! All Central Piedmont Cosmetology Salon services are performed by students under the supervision of licensed instructors.

The salon features:

  • pedicure, manicure, and facial stations

  • specialized equipment and furniture to accommodate the college’s cosmetology offerings

    • Half-head cornrows or twists (by appointment): $40

    You will be charged extra for matted and long hair depending on hair length.

  • Skin Care Services
    • Basic facial (includes cleanse, tone, massage, moisturize): $10
    • Spa facial (includes basic services plus exfoliation and mask): $15
    • Make-up application: $8
    • Eyebrow wax or tweeze: $5
    • Lip wax or tweeze: $5
    • Chin wax or tweeze: $5
    • All three wax/tweeze services: $12

Salon Policies and Procedures

  • Walk-ins welcome.

  • We do not provide hair additions or artificial hair enhancement.

  • We do not provide artificial nail services.

  • If this is your first hair color services with us, you are required to get a full consultation and a patch test 48 hours before your service.

  • No checks.

  • No refunds.

  • Gift certificates available.

  • Central Piedmont faculty, staff, retirees, and students get a 10% discount with a Central Piedmont ID (student must be current at time of services).

  • Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. For safety reasons, children are not permitted on salon floor unless receiving services.
