You can “earn and learn” with a paid apprenticeship with Coca-Cola Consolidated. Coke Consolidated is funding apprenticeships at Central Piedmont Community College to spur interest in high-demand positions in manufacturing, equipment repair, and logistics at its Charlotte-area facilities. Attend an Information Session to learn more about this opportunity from representatives from Coke Consolidated and Central Piedmont.

Application

Applications are now being accepted. Apprenticeships will begin in Summer 2024 and take 12 months to complete. During the program, selected candidates can expect to work about 20 hours per week and enroll in three or four college level courses each semester. After completing the interest form, a representative from Coca-Cola Consolidated will contact candidates to share more information and a link to complete the application. Upon successful completion of the program, the apprentice will transition into a full-time position.

Program Details

  • Qualified applicants will get paid experience through part-time positions at Coke Consolidated while receiving financial support to pay for career certificates in fields to prepare you for careers such as:

    – Manufacturing & Warehouse Mechanic. Participants will complete the following certificates as part of the apprenticeship: Industrial Automation Technician I & Industrial Automation Technician II

    – Diesel Mechanic (Red Classic Transportation). Participants will complete the following certificates as part of the apprenticeship: Over the Road Specialist I & Over the Road Specialist II

    – Equipment Services Reconditioning Technician (HVAC and electrical skills). Participants will complete the following certificate as part of the apprenticeship: HVAC-R Technology specialization in Industry Introduction

  • The basic qualification for the Coke Consolidated apprenticeships is a high school diploma or equivalent.
