Residency Licensure Certificate Programs
The Central Piedmont Residency Licensure program is designed for individuals who are currently working as teachers and hold a bachelor’s degree in a field outside of education. Our flexible program helps you meet licensure requirements while continuing to teach, giving you the tools and credentials you need to grow your career in the classroom.
What You Will Learn
Central Piedmont offers six courses to be taken over two years, focused on the pedagogy of teaching as well as preparation for licensure and certification. The program will meet the individual needs of each student while working in cohorts with other teachers in the same residency program.
Teachers seeking licensure can complete Central Piedmont’s residency program and graduate with a certificate and teaching license in less than three years.
