Latin Americans Working for Achievement High School Series

The Latin Americans Working for Achievement (LAWA) High School Series is series of events hosted at Charlotte-area colleges and universities aimed at decreasing the graduation gap, increasing higher education access, and preparing youth for the workforce.

Parents and students are invited to attend our free bilingual workshop hosted at Central Piedmont Community College on how to prepare, plan, and pay for postsecondary education. Learn about high school graduation, higher education institutions, how to prepare and and apply for college, financial aid, career paths, bachelor and associate degrees, and trade and vocational program options. This session will have a particular focus on careers in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).

Learn more about all events in the series on the LAWA website.
