Tuition Payment Plan

To help you meet your educational expenses, Central Piedmont is proud to offer the tuition payment plan as a convenient budget plan. This is not a loan program. There are no interest or finance charges assessed, and there is no credit check. The cost to budget your interest-free monthly payment plan is a $25 per semester non-refundable Nelnet Account Enrollment Fee.

Spring 2020 Tuition Payment Plan

Central Piedmont's tuition payment plan will be available November 1–December 16, 2019 for spring 2020 registration. You may budget your tuition and fees in the following ways:

    • Automatic bank payment (ACH) option: automatic bank payment payments are payments you have authorized the tuition payment plan to process directly with your financial institution. It is simply a bank-to-bank transfer of funds that you have pre-approved for your expenses at Central Piedmont. Payments may be made from either your checking or savings account.
    • Credit card option: Paying with your credit card gives you the option of taking advantage of any bonus programs that may be offered by your credit card company. Your monthly payment will be automatically charged to the credit card you designate.

    Payments are processed electronically in accordance with the terms and conditions of the tuition payment plan agreement. The tuition payment plan does not accept payments by phone.

    Plan Features and Payment Dates

    • To qualify for the tuition payment plan, you must have a minimum of $200 in tuition and fees for curriculum (for-college-credit) courses.
    • There is a $25 non-refundable Nelnet Account enrollment fee per semester.
    • Payments are automatically deducted electronically. It may take up to 7 business days for payment to post.
    • Your courses are secured – your courses will not be dropped.

    Payments will be charged on the following dates:

    • Sign up by November 18, 2019 at 5 p.m. for 33% down. Your second and third payments will be automatically withdrawn on December 13, 2019 and January 13, 2020.
    • Sign up by December 2, 2019 at 5 p.m. for 33% down. Your second and third payments will be automatically withdrawn on December 13, 2019 and January 13, 2020.
    • Sign up by December 2, 2019 at 5 p.m. for 50% down. Your second payment will be automatically withdrawn on January 13, 2020.
    • Sign up by December 16, 2019 at 5 p.m. for 50% down. Your second payment will be automatically withdrawn on January 13, 2020.
    • Should you cancel your classes before the semester begins, your refund will be applied to the BankMobile card.

    Important Notice: If you enroll in the tuition payment plan and need to add or drop classes, decide to pay the remaining balance to Central Piedmont directly, or receive financial aid, please email us at bankmobile_nelnethp@cpcc.edu or call 704.330.4472 to update your Nelnet agreement at least two business days before the next automatic draft date. If you fail to let us know of the updates, the payment plan will continue to automatically draft your bank account as scheduled.

    Log in to MyCollege to enroll in and manage your tuition payment plan

    When enrolling, be sure to have the following information:

    • Central Piedmont student ID number
    • the name, address, and email address of the person responsible for making the payments
    • account information for the person responsible for payment
    • if paying by automatic bank payments: bank name, telephone number, account number, and the bank routing number (most of this information is located on your check)
    • if paying by credit card: credit card number and card expiration date

    Once your agreement is posted to the tuition payment plan system, you will receive a confirmation notification of your payment amount by email or letter. Payments will be processed until the total balance is paid in full. The notification has important information you must have to log in to the My Tuition Payment Plan Account. The notification also serves as a reminder that a $25 per semester nonrefundable Nelnet Account Enrollment Fee will be processed from the account indicated on the agreement.

    The tuition payment plan specifies the date each payment will occur, but it is your financial institution that determines the time of day the payment is debited. The tuition payment plan recommends you check with your financial institution to determine how far in advance funds should be deposited into your account to ensure the automatic payment clears. If a payment date falls on a weekend or banking holiday, the payment will be attempted the following business day.
