Register for Corporate and Continuing Education

Corporate and Continuing Education students do not have to fill out an enrollment application to start taking courses. Simply register to get started. Registration is ongoing throughout the semester as course seats are available. Be sure to check out scholarships available for career training and continuing education programs.

    Choose from three options to register and pay for Corporate and Continuing Education classes.

    Requirements

    Corporate and Continuing Education Refund Policy

    • Tuition

      Self-supporting (SS) courses are eligible for a refund based on the following policy: 

      • 100 percent of tuition paid will be refunded by the college if the student officially withdraws prior to the first day of the class. Call customer service 704.330.4223 to withdraw.
      • If you do not withdraw and do not attend, you are still responsible for payment.
      • Tuition will be refunded 100 percent for any classes canceled by the college.

      Occupational Extension (OE) classes are eligible for a refund based on the following policy:

      • 100 percent of tuition paid will be refunded by the college if the student officially withdraws prior to the first day of the class. Call customer service 704.330.4223 to withdraw.
      • 75 percent of tuition paid will be refunded by the college if the student officially withdraws on or after the first day through the 10 percent point of the class.
      • Tuition will be refunded 100 percent for any class canceled by the college.
    • Other Fees

      Other fees in addition to tuition may include: 

      • Campus access, parking, and security (CAPS) fee of $12 is required for continuing education courses that meet on college campuses.
      • A technology fee of $5 is charged for each Occupational Extension (OE) class.
      • Certain courses charge a $27 lab fee.
      • Student accident insurance and/or professional liability insurance may be required for certain courses and payment is expected at the time of registration.
      • Certain courses require books and or additional supplies.

      Do continuing education students need to submit an enrollment application or transcript?

      No. 

      Is North Carolina residency required to take continuing education classes?

      No

      If I’m an adult age 65 or older, do I have to pay for continuing education classes?

      Yes. North Carolina residents age 65 years or older are no longer eligible for a free course per semester. 

      How can I pay for continuing education classes? 

      Central Piedmont accepts credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express), cash, money orders, or checks.

      Can I get a refund if I withdraw from my class?

      Please see our Refund Policy to determine if you are eligible for a refund.

    Scholarships
