Rent a Space at Central Piedmont
Facilities Services reserves and schedules the use of Central Piedmont classroom space, conference rooms, and small auditoriums for non-Performing Arts and Foundation events. All interested parties, both internal and external, must submit a rental application, as well as a current certificate of insurance, and will assume all fees associated with the event.
Use of college space is permitted when activity does not conflict with ongoing classes, college business, or the mission of the college. Central Piedmont-sponsored organizations involving public attendance are also required to follow this application process.
Facilities Services charges rental fees for all external organizations at all campuses unless other arrangements are made with Facilities Services prior to application submission.
An application and a current certificate of insurance must be submitted from the requesting organization for processing and approvals a minimum of four weeks prior to the date of the event. All assessed fees must be paid in full prior to the date of the event.
An internal college event is designed and organized by a campus division exclusively for students, faculty, and/or staff. All other events — those that the public is invited to and those involving a third party organization — will be considered outside events and are subject to rental fees, as detailed in the Facilities Services Fee Schedule.
We welcome and encourage faculty, staff, and employees to use space offered at Central Piedmont under the guidelines provided by Facilities Services, Performing Arts and Events Facilities Division, and Campus Administration.
