Teacher Degree Pathway Information Session

Everyone has a favorite teacher that helped shape their life — you could be that teacher for a future student. Teachers are in-demand, especially in North Carolina, so take advantage of the opportunities here at Central Piedmont. Earn an Associate of Arts or Science in the teacher preparation pathway which can help save time and money. Students enrolled in this degree pathway will take care of their general education requirements as well as their foundational Education courses here at Central Piedmont.

Upon graduation, students will enter one of the UNC System universities as a junior with 60-61 credits. This means over the next two years students will be in their higher Education courses at the university, start classroom observations, complete their student teaching their senior year, and successfully graduate with their Bachelors.
