Are you a high schooler who wants to go to college, but aren't sure how to get started? The annual North Carolina Countdown to College events can help you with three important steps to starting college:

College Week Topics

  • Welcome from campus director

  • Financial aid/how to graduate college debt-free

  • How Central Piedmont can help you Conquer Possibility

  • Submit the residency determination and college application with help from staff

Locations and Schedule

All events are free and open to all high school students, regardless of which college you want to go to. The schedule and topics are the same at each campus, so you can go to the College Week at your nearest Central Piedmont campus.

  • Monday, October 18, 6–7:30 p.m.

    Harper Campus (near Starmount/Pineville/South Carolina), Harper I Building, Room 108

  • Tuesday, October 19, 6–7:30 p.m.

    Cato Campus (near University City/Harrisburg), Cato II Building, Room 020

  • Wednesday, October 20, 6–7:30 p.m.

    Levine Campus (Matthews), Levine I Building, Room 2150

  • Thursday, October 21, 6–7:30 p.m.

    Merancas Campus (Huntersville), Claudia Watkins Belk Center for Criminal Justice, Room 131

  • Friday, October 22, 10–11:30 a.m. AND 2–3:30 p.m.

    Central Campus (Elizabeth/near Uptown), Zeiss Building, Room 1106

    The content at both times is the same.
