Catamount Connection Program

As a Catamount Connection student, you will be guaranteed admission to Western Carolina University to pursue a bachelor’s degree after you complete an eligible Central Piedmont associate degree.

Eligibility Requirements

  • To be Considered for the Catamount Connection Program

    • be a currently enrolled student at Central Piedmont in a degree-seeking capacity in good academic standing
    • earn and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 with a minimum GPA of 2.2 in the most recently completed academic term
    • earn an associate's degree from Central Piedmont in a college transfer program or in an applied program for which an articulation agreement exists
    • demonstrate good citizenship and conduct
  • To Transfer to Western Carolina

    • submit the application for admission and all required records by the university's deadline
    • submit the application fee or waiver and fulfill all commitment action steps
    • in addition to the application for admission, you must also complete the Catamount Connection Application Form
