Criminal Justice Fall Break Study Abroad in Ireland

Study criminal justice in Ireland, a diverse country rich in legal history with a unique blend of tradition and innovation, offering you the opportunity to learn how to shape the future of law and the criminal justice system on a global scale. Students will become familiar with Irish history, art, music, culture and the impact that imperialism, famine, revolution, and independence has had on Ireland in a modern context. This program aims to foster intercultural competence and awareness through the lens of criminal justice and the legal system with an emphasis on the ways in which history plays a significant role in these processes. Explore the breathtaking views at the Sliabh Liag Cliffs and Arranmore Island. Students will enjoy the wealth of opportunities to learn from experts in their field and explore cities and towns such as Dublin and Derry and to stand in the very spot that Bloody Sunday happened. Whether you are interested in criminal justice, traveling through Ireland or just the experience of studying abroad, the program in Ireland is a once-in-a lifetime opportunity.
