As of July 14, NC Gov. Roy Cooper announced the state will remain in Phase Two for another three weeks, at least until Aug. 7
Central Piedmont announced July 7, that fall semester classes will begin on Aug. 10, and be taught in multiple formats – online, hybrid, blended, and face-to-face. The majority of students will come to campus a minimal number of times, with the rest of their instruction occurring online. Registration for fall semester classes is open at www.cpcc.edu/admissions/registration.

Student Life is excited promote a safe and fun atmosphere for you to participate in intramural sports, recreational events, and fitness activities.
To participate, you must be a currently enrolled student at Central Piedmont, must show proper ID upon entry, sign appropriate hold harmless agreements, and agree to abide by the Student Code of Conduct.

Campus Fitness Centers
The Central Piedmont fitness centers are free and open to all faculty, staff, and currently-enrolled Central Piedmont students. Faculty and staff must first complete a brief orientation session and sign a liability waiver. Appropriate workout clothing and a valid Central Piedmont ID are required to use any fitness center facility.
Fitness center features:
- friendly facilitators on-site to help with the use of equipment
- fitness and weight machines
- locker room for storage of personal items
