Student Government Association (SGA)
The Student Government Association (SGA) is your representative body to address issues and concerns from students. It serves as a bridge between the student population and the college administration, ensuring student voices are heard in campus decision-making.
- Key responsibilities: Advocate for student needs and concerns, recommend the allocation of budgetary dollars, student events, community service and support the development of student clubs and organizations.
- Benefits: Development of high-level leadership and advocacy skills, experience in budget management, and direct networking with college leadership and the Board of Trustees.

Executive Committee members
Responsibilities
- serves as chief executive officer of the SGA
- coordinates and oversees committees
- presides over SGA meetings
- serves as an ex-officio member of the Central Piedmont Board of Trustees
Responsibilities
- assumes the duties of the president if they are unable to fulfill their duties
- assumes the duties delegated to them by the SGA president and SGA advisor
- manages the application, recruitment, and training of other SGA members
- monitors committees
Responsibilities
- creates and maintains permanent records and reports for the SGA
- maintains the record of attendance for all SGA meetings
- prepares and distributes a copy of meeting minutes to all SGA members and advisors
Responsibilities
- works with Student Life staff to make purchases as needed by the SGA
- works and communicates with clubs/student organizations requesting student fee funds
- keeps and updates SGA financial records
- provides SGA financial reports as necessary
Responsibilities
- prepares and releases clear and concise publicity to the clubs, student organizations, and the college community as directed by the SGA members and advisors
- advertises SGA events and initiatives across the college
- presents a unifying message to students that reflects the one college model
- maintains SGA related documents, social media, and websites
Student Ambassadors
Student ambassadors serve as the official face of Central Piedmont. They are motivated, service-minded leaders who represent the college at campus and community events. The application is open each year in February-March.
- Key Responsibilities: Support outreach and recruitment, lead campus tours and welcome new students.
- Benefits: Professional development, networking opportunities, and a $2,000 scholarship per participating semester.
- Eligibility: Minimum 3.0 GPA and completion of 18 credit hours. Commitment includes monthly meetings and 60 hours of service per semester.

Campus Activities Board
Campus Activities Board is a student-led organization that plans and hosts social, educational and recreational events for the student body. All Central Piedmont students from all campuses are encouraged to attend events and participate in CAB to help plan activities. Students who join CAB are able to plan and put on events like DeStress Week, Student Mixers, movie nights and more.
