Daisy Corea at Central Piedmont's Eye Clinic

Eye Clinic

Central Piedmont offers comprehensive eye care services to the community, including current curriculum students, through a unique clinic-based learning environment. Vision exams are performed by Ophthalmic Medical Personnel students under the direct supervision of licensed ophthalmologists or optometrists.

Featured information

How it works

The eye clinic operates as a teaching facility where students gain real-world experience. Every patient receives a comprehensive medical history review followed by a vision examination. If a prescription is necessary, clinical opticians assist in fitting and ordering eyewear. This collaborative environment ensures professional-grade care while supporting the next generation of ophthalmic professionals.
