Weston Andress
Regional President for PNC Bank in Western Carolina. Appointed by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Board of Education, he leverages his extensive financial sector experience to guide the college’s strategic growth.
Gabriel J. Esparza
A business leader with expertise in global business development and strategy. Reappointed in 2023, he ensures college programs align with evolving workforce needs and the regional economy.
Janet LaBar
Executive Director of the Women's Impact Fund. She focuses on regional prosperity and economic development, ensuring the college remains a primary catalyst for local talent.
Arrington Mixon
A community leader with a background in investment banking and philanthropy. She provides expertise in organizational leadership and finance to support the college’s mission of providing accessible education.
Bradford Muller
Vice President of Corporate Communications at Charlotte Pipe and Foundry. Joined the board in 2025, bringing 35+ years of experience in government relations and brand positioning.
Andrew Sprenger
Regional Operations Manager for SanStone Health & Rehabilitation with expertise in healthcare operations, finance, and business analytics. He holds a finance degree from The Ohio State University and previously worked for MidCap Financial and Wells Fargo.
Patricia Rodgers
Former CEO of Rodgers Builders and a Central Piedmont alumna. She previously chaired the Central Piedmont Foundation Board and rejoined the Board of Trustees in 2025.
Khalif J. Rhodes
Managing attorney at The Rhodes Firm. Has served as a trustee since 2021, bringing expertise in governance and expanding access to education across Mecklenburg County.
Bertram Scott
A retired healthcare executive and current director of Becton, Dickinson and Company. Appointed by Governor Roy Cooper, he provides counsel on workforce training alignment with community needs and corporate governance.
Alison Summerville
Partner at Nexus Search Partners and previous executive at Ally Financial. Appointed by the Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners, she is highly focused on sound financial governance, corporate citizenship and strategic administration.
