Borrow materials
To borrow materials, you can use your Central Piedmont ID card (preferred), any government issued picture ID or your Central Piedmont ID number.
To request items, place a hold from the library catalog or visit the library on the campus nearest you.
To renew items online or pay fees, log in to your My Library account.
To see the availability of Chromebooks, hotspots and calculators, consult the Equipment Guide.
Complete the purchase request form to suggest materials for the library's collection.
Makerspace
The Makerspace offers audio and video recording, 3D printing, large format printing, laser engraving and cutting, sewing and embroidery, vinyl cutting and an array of arts and craft supplies to help you get started making.
Do you have a class or large group that would like to work in the Makerspace (rather than just visit briefly)? Fill out the Makerspace class or group visits form two weeks in advance.
Find your space
Reservations for spaces in the library can be made up to two weeks in advance.
Study rooms
Study rooms are available for individual or group study at all campus locations.
Family study rooms
Family study rooms are designed for students with small children. Each room contains space to study, as well as entertainment options for children.
Makerspace media rooms
These spaces are available for audio recording activities. Limit of two people per room. Food and drinks are not permitted.
Computer labs
All library locations offer labs with printing, scanning and wireless access. Reservations are not needed to use computer labs.
Quiet rooms
Quiet rooms provide space for lactation, quiet contemplation, reflection, wellness activities, prayer or similar activities.
