Academic support
The Ruth G. Shaw Center for Academic Success & Excellence (CASE) is the primary hub for curriculum-based support in core subjects, including math, science and writing.
- Professional academic support coaches: Get free one-on-one or group sessions with professional coaches to achieve course-specific goals.
- Flexible scheduling: In-person appointments are available at Central, Cato and Levine campuses, or virtually for remote learners
- Course-specific support: You can access course-specific virtual support in the CASE dashboard.
English and writing assistance
At select times during the week, faculty in the English department will use their office hours to aid students writing essays and drafts.

The MED 121 support lessons focus on teaching ways to actively learn, remember and use vocabulary through mind mapping, labeling and explaining processes.
