Central Piedmont Community College provides ample parking across all campuses for students, employees and visitors. To ensure a smooth experience, please park only in designated college facilities and display the required permits.

Student and employee parking

Current students and employees may park in designated areas on each campus. Motorcycle parking is available in Parking Deck 2 on the first floor.  

  • Permit requirement: All vehicles must display a valid parking decal. 
  • Decal pickup: Decals are available at any campus business office (Cato campus: Cato I building, room 121; Central campus: Central High building, room 100; Harper campus: Harper IV building, room 204; Harris campus: Harris I building, room 1102; Levine campus: Levine I building, room 2125; Merancas campus: Claytor building, room 1103) once tuition is paid in full. 
  • Decal replacement: A lost decal will be replaced for $5. 
  • Placement: Place the decal on the inside of the rear window, specifically on the lower corner of the driver’s side.

Parking citations

Parking citations must be paid within seven business days of issue date to avoid penalty per the instructions on the citation.

If you feel a parking citation was issued in error, you may appeal within 10 days of issuance of the notice. Send citation appeals, including the violation number and/or license plate and valid justification for waiver to:

You can also make a parking citation appeal at cpccnotices@preferredparking.com. Appeals cannot be made over the phone or in person.
