Central Campus: NextGen info session

NCWorks NextGen at Central Piedmont Community College provides free access to education, training and employment.

NextGen offers:

• Career guidance, exploration and advising
• Scholarships for in-demand certifications and skills training
• Paid internships, apprenticeships, workplace tours and job shadowing
• Career readiness and leadership development
• Mentoring, tutoring, supportive services and more!

Attend an information session to learn more about NextGen. You will meet a staff member, review program options, learn about eligibility and start the application. Registration is encouraged.

Eligibility:

To participate in NextGen, you must meet the following requirements:

• Age 16 – 24
• One or more barriers to employment (see the full list of eligible barriers on the NextGen page)
• Living in Mecklenburg County (Charlotte or surrounding cities)
• Not currently enrolled in school (Adult High School, GED®, CCR, and High School Equivalency students may be eligible)
