Honeywell STEM Prep is an academic enrichment program for rising 11th graders, rising 12th graders, and graduating seniors. The program focuses on increasing diversity in STEM by removing financial barriers and facilitating hands-on learning in science, engineering and information technology. The program is available thanks to a generous donation from Honeywell, a global leader in aerospace, building technologies, performance materials and technologies.
In the Honeywell STEM Prep program, you will choose whether to focus on science, technology or engineering.
All students will strengthen their math skills by participating in collaborative projects that relate to real-life applications of math concepts.
Rising 11th and 12th graders, as well as graduating high school seniors interested in STEM fields, are invited to apply.
The program is supported by generous funding from Honeywell, allowing you to access college-level enrichment and resources at no cost.
Many participants continue their journey at Central Piedmont through full-time enrollment or dual-enrollment programs.
