About the programs

About the Associate in Fine Arts in Theatre program

The Associate in Fine Arts in Theatre helps you learn by doing. You’ll practice acting and stagecraft and see how a show comes together from the early planning stages to opening night. You’ll take part in live productions, build confidence and discover what you enjoy most. This hands-on experience helps you prepare to transfer or begin your theatre career.

In the Performance track, you’ll learn acting, voice and movement, script work, and theatre history. In the Technical Theatre track, you’ll learn lighting, sound, costumes, props, and set design. Both tracks build teamwork and problem‑solving skills and give you hands‑on practice in live shows to help you grow and get ready for what’s next.
