About the Christa A. Overcash Associate Degree in Nursing program
The Christa A. Overcash Associate Degree in Nursing program prepares you for a career as an entry-level registered nurse. This two-year program combines classroom learning with hands-on labs, simulation and clinical experiences. Students learn how to provide safe, quality nursing care while meeting the needs of individuals and families. Graduates meet the education requirements to apply for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).

Enrollment: Approximately 55–70 students are admitted each cycle, with cohorts starting in the fall and spring.
Licensure outcomes: In 2024, graduates achieved a 100% NCLEX-RN exam pass rate. The program’s three-year first-time pass rate (2022–2024) is 98%.
Graduation rate: 55% of students complete the program on time.
Job placement: Among respondents, 93% of Spring 2024 graduates and 100% of Fall 2024 graduates reported employment after completing the program.
