About the programs

About the Air Conditioning, Heating & Refrigeration Technology (A.A.S.) program

Learn how heating, cooling and refrigeration systems work and how to install, service and repair them. You’ll study safety and codes, tools and testing, and both heating and refrigeration theory. Advanced classes cover system load design and balanced air‑side design for ducts, ventilation and filtration. You’ll practice in labs and build the skills employers want.
