Jessica Boyce is Central Piedmont Community College’s executive vice president of finance and operations. In this role, she provides executive leadership and oversight for the college’s fiscal management and stewardship of funding, facilities development and planning, and operational business strategy.
Boyce is responsible for financial planning and analysis, accounting, procurement, facilities, information technology, safety and security, business continuity, conference and event services, and auxiliary services. She assumed her current role in 2025 after serving as vice president of finance and facilities and chief financial officer for more than two years. During this time, she worked to strengthen the college’s financial position, managed more than $200 million in infrastructure investments across six campuses, and transformed the budget planning process to support Central Piedmont’s long-term strategic plan. In 2026, she was selected as finalist for the Charlotte Business Journal's CFO of the Year in the Education category.
Prior to serving as chief financial officer and overseeing facilities, Boyce was associate vice president of financial and auxiliary services. In this capacity, she directed the college’s external financial reporting strategy, ensuring compliance and successfully implementing new accounting standards. She led a transformative shift to a one-college food service model, enhancing consistency across the institution, and facilitated the onboarding of a new bookstore provider, strengthening campus resources and the student experience. She joined the college as the director of accounting and reporting.
Boyce started her career at Cherry Bekaert as an auditor, where she delivered independent and objective financial statement audits for clients across the non-profit and higher education sectors. Her dedication to higher education was born from her client work, where she learned more about the strategies, funding models, financial systems, and opportunities across two- and four-year institutions.
Boyce graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and earned her master’s there as well. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the North Carolina Association of Community College Business Office Professionals.
