Central Piedmont study abroad scholarships
The Center for Global Engagement offers scholarships to study abroad students based on quality of application, strength of recommendation letters and financial need. Browse scholarship opportunities and submit your application plus two letters of recommendation through Campus Community.
External study abroad scholarships
Community College Access Scholarship
The Forum on Education Abroad awards the Community College Access Scholarship to students who demonstrate financial need and are enrolled at U.S. community colleges.

Gilman International Scholarship (federal Pell Grant recipients)
Federal Pell Grant recipients are eligible to receive up to $5,000 through the Gilman International Scholarship.

Other financial resources
If you currently receive financial aid and will receive college credit for your Central Piedmont study abroad program, you may be eligible to apply your financial aid or Veterans Affairs benefits towards eligible study abroad program costs.
Contact the Financial Aid and/or Veterans' Affairs office for more information on how you can use financial aid towards study abroad or about private/alternative loan options.
