About the Civil Engineering Technology program

The Civil Engineering Technology program will prepare you for hands-on roles in civil engineering. You will learn practical skills in surveying, construction materials testing, site development, CAD drafting, and project documentation. This ABET-accredited program blends classroom learning with labs and real tools. Our graduates are ready to join engineering teams and enter the workforce with confidence.

Civil Engineering Technology students develop skills used daily in civil engineering support roles. You’ll learn surveying and geomatics methods, construction materials testing, and basic structural concepts. Coursework also covers site design, CAD drafting and technical documentation. Through hands-on labs and applied projects, you will practice using industry tools and software, building the problem-solving and teamwork skills employers expect in the field.
