Harper Campus IV Lobby
11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Celebrate International Education Week with a special global edition of Harper Campus’s Warm-Up Wednesday.
Students from ESL Level 5 and 6 classes will host country tables where they can share information about their home countries, traditions, clothing, art, and other cultural items. Participants will be encouraged to visit the different tables, connect with students, and learn more about cultures represented across Central Piedmont.
Attendees will also receive a goodie bag featuring treats from around the world.
The event will feature Engineering the Thrill: German Innovation, Roller Coasters & PLC Automation, an interactive station led by Shantel Moore from Skilled Trades – Electrical. Participants will explore German engineering and industrial automation through a hands-on K'NEX roller-coaster model and PLC demonstration featuring sensors, sequencing, control systems, and safety technology.
Warm-Up Wednesday – International Edition will combine food, culture, conversation, and hands-on learning to create an engaging intercultural experience for students.
