On day three of Tech Week Fall 2026, compete in an interactive cybersecurity competition. Whether you are new to cybersecurity, or you are looking to practice your skill set, all students, faculty and staff are invited to participate in this two-day challenge!
Students:
Day 1 - Gymnasium, Practice
- Set up your competition accounts.
- Practice cybersecurity ethical hacking and penetration testing methods.
- Gain access to free cybersecurity tools to enhance your skillset and knowledge.
- Get ready for the competition tomorrow.
Day 2 - Capture the Flag Competition
- Take what you learned from day one and seek out hidden data, user and root level flags in the cyber-range.
- You may work together in teams or as an individual.
- Competition winners will receive door prizes and industry certification vouchers.
- Normal grade requirements for certification vouchers will be waved for participants.
Faculty and staff:

- Date: Wednesday and Thursday, November 11-12, 2026
- Time: 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
- Location: Levine Technology Building, 5th floor open labs and virtual cyber range platforms
- Devices: Bring your own laptops to take full advantage of the cyber-range activities and competitions
- Refreshments: Food and drinks will be provided
