About the Teacher Prep - Science program

In the Teacher Prep program, you’ll explore the field of education early while learning the foundations of great teaching and why it’s such a meaningful, rewarding career. Upon program completion, and per the statewide Comprehensive Articulation Agreement, you will be prepared to transfer to a four-year university with many general education and foundational major-specific courses completed. The ASTP degree is best for students interested in teaching middle or high school subjects like science, technology, engineering, and math.
