Welcome to International Services

Welcome to Central Piedmont Community College! The International Programs and Services office is committed to supporting the academic and personal growth of our F-1 international students at CPCC. Whether you need assistance with immigration related issues, resources at the college or want to learn more about the Charlotte community. We are here to help.

CPCC has a large international student community, with students from 163 different countries. Over 5,000 of our students were born outside the United States. This means that CPCC has the programs and services to help international students be successful in their studies.

Charlotte, North Carolina, is the home to CPCC’s six full-service college campuses. The climate is pleasant, the mountains are less than two hours away, and ocean beaches are three hours’ drive from Charlotte. As a growing city (about 1.6 million people in the metropolitan area), Charlotte is also home to a variety of professional sports teams, a thriving arts scene, and a busy international airport. This is a great place to live and to study.

Here you will find the admissions requirements necessary to obtain a student (F-1) visa to attend CPCC. Please read these materials carefully. Fill out the forms accurately and be sure to include a signed affidavit of support when you mail the information to our office.

Your success is our goal and our staff is available to answer your questions during your academic journey in the United States.
