Work-based learning is an academic class commonly called co-op. Instead of attending class in a traditional classroom, students work with an employer in a position directly related to their field of study. Work-based learning is similar to an internship, but students receive academic credit either as an elective or as a required class.
Work-based learning/co-op is available in nearly 50 programs of study at CPCC. Contact a coordinator at one of our six campuses for more information.

We look forward to putting your education to work!
