German Immersion in Germany

Learn German the best possible way.....by being there! Our program offers a superb opportunity to learn or improve your German, through 3 hours of intensive language instruction per day, and an opportunity to enjoy a life changing experience in another culture. Beautiful Heidelberg is a major cultural center and the home of the oldest university in Germany (1385), the most beautiful Old Bridge in Germany and a landmark castle rising on its own mountaintop. You will live with a German host family in or near the city of Heidelberg which is on the Neckar River.

3. If you are a current full time CPCC taking German, apply for the German Language and Culture Foundation Scholarship.

What is NOT included:
Participants will work with the Program Leader to determine the appropriate level of German (GER) to register for. You will receive instructions in April to register for the corresponding summer course(s).
Prerequisites: No German proficiency is required, though applicants will be tested to ensure they are placed in appropriate courses. Students must have completed or be currently taking a course through the CPCC German Program to be eligible for the scholarship.
HUM 120 (3 credits) - Students must sign up for the course in spring term.CCE Course - Students who do not need the curriculum credit of the courses above can take a CCE course for this program.
