Emerging Student Leaders

Emerging Student Leaders is a six-week, transformational student leadership development training program.

Through self-awareness, team building, values, and communication development activities, Emerging Student Leaders will prepare you to identify and build your leadership skills, define your purpose, and create a network of support within your cohort and across Central Piedmont. For completing the program, you receive a certificate and a badge to include on your social media.

Emerging Student Leaders

You are required to attend all six Emerging Student Leaders sessions. If you miss either of the first two sessions, you will be invited to join a later cohort.

The six Emerging Student Leaders sessions include:

  • Week 1

    Building Community

  • Week 2

    Finding your Leadership Voice

  • Week 3

    Leadership Styles in Action

  • Week 4

    Value-Driven Leadership

  • Week 5

    Courageous Leadership

  • Week 6

    Executive Leaders Panel and Graduation

The program is designed for students at all levels and so that each cohort has a diverse mix of participants. Each cohort is limited to only 14 students. We will start accepting applications for the next cohort in fall 2021.
