Service-Learning

Events and Programs

We have tons of ways you can get involved with service in your community:

  • Service in Action is a great way to meet requirements for class or to just try out our “buffet of service.”
  • Alternative Spring Break is a low-cost service trip where students participate in meaningful service activities, learn more about community issues, and have fun!
  • The MLK Challenge is an annual service event held on MLK Day in January. By serving your community, you celebrate the life and teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
  • Project Life Movement, a campus-based national marrow donor organization, is dedicated to saving lives and curing cancer and other diseases by identifying and registering volunteers for marrow and tissue donation.
