CPCC to host 3rd annual Business and Accounting Week March 17-20
Central Piedmont Community College’s Business and Accounting Division is pleased to announce it will host its 3rd annual “Business & Accounting Week: Unleashing the Entrepreneur Inside You!” event March 17 – 20 on the college’s Central Campus. Throughout the week, the general public, as well as CPCC students, faculty and staff, will have the opportunity to attend a variety of FREE presentations and seminars offered by industry trendsetters and leaders, including the CEO of Krispy Kreme.
Business and Accounting Week was created to connect CPCC students to the resources needed for them to achieve personal and professional success. Throughout the week, students will have the opportunity to mingle with local business leaders, while learning how to prepare to enter the workforce and gain a better understanding of today’s global issues that impact communities across the world.
"We are excited about this year’s event,” said Loretta Evivie, division director for CPCC’s Business and Accounting Division. “It gives our students, as well as local residents, the opportunity to connect with many of today’s industry leaders and glean a variety of best practices to use in their pursuit of success – both in life and in business.”
CPCC has assembled a number of notable presenters to host these discussion topics, including:
- Jim Morgan, chief executive officer for Krispy Kreme. He will discuss one of North Carolina’s most recognizable and tasty brands, Krispy Kreme.
