CPCC Advertising + Graphic Design student wins AIGA award
A poster designed by Max Lee, a student in CPCC's Advertising + Graphic Design, won a competition sponsored by the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) Atlanta Chapter. The competition sought posters that called awareness to the issue of human trafficking in the Atlanta area.
Students in CPCC's "A+GD Graphic Design IV" classes completed the project during the spring 2014 semester, regarding the same issue in Charlotte. One of the requirements for that project was to submit a poster to the Atlanta competition.
Max was one of two students who received first place in the student category.
His poster, as well as other submissions, will be on display this summer at the Museum of Design Atlanta, as part of its "Design for Social Impact" exhibition.
Max was in the evening section of "A+GD Graphic Design IV," taught by Jannie Burgess, a graphic design instructor at CPCC.
