WebEx web conferencing is a great way to work with people in other locations.
WebEx technology allows you to meet, collaborate, present, and share content — all on the web. Meet face-to-face with HD video conferencing. Share your entire desktop, or specific documents or apps, with everyone in the meeting. Participants can also give "remote control" to others for demonstration or support purposes.
WebEx software is delivered over the web as you need it. You don't have to download, update, or maintain it. Set up an account and start using WebEx within minutes — you can use it from any computer with an internet connection, and from most smartphones and tablets.
Schedule a WebEx session ahead of time, or start one spontaneously as needed. You can launch a meeting from:
- The product site (like meetings.webex.com, or your personalized WebEx URL)
- Microsoft Outlook, just like you do with other meetings (get the plug-in)
- Within a Microsoft Office document you're working on (get the plug-in)
You can email, IM, or text others to invite them to your meeting. Attendees don't have to have a WebEx account. Your invitation includes a link they can click to join you online.
During your meeting you can video conference, share content, or just have a discussion.

If you have a WebEx Meetings Basic account, up to 3 people can attend each meeting (including you, the host).
If you purchase a WebEx Meetings Premium account, you can choose from three plans. Premium 8 has a maximum capacity of 8 people per meeting (including the host). Premium 25 allows a maximum of 25 people, and Premium 100 has a maximum of 100 people.
WebEx offers plans that support sessions of up to 3,000 people. If you'd like to include more than 100 attendees, please contact our CPCC Help Desk.
