Are you a Central Piedmont student pursuing a college degree, diploma or certificate? Follow these steps to graduate:
- Meet with your advisor. Make an appointment with your faculty advisor or Transfer Resource Center to determine if you have met all requirements of the Degree, Diploma, or certificate.
- Complete the graduation application in MyCollege for each credential you wish to earn. If you do not see your certificate listed, please contact your advisor to have them admit you to the program. Once admitted, you will see your certificate and may apply for graduation.
- After applying, a graduation analyst will review your application within 4-6 weeks after the drop/add period and send you an email with an order form attached for your degree or diploma. Please print it out and return it to a Central Piedmont cashiers office with payment. For the college certificates, once awarded, a hard copy will be mailed to your address on file.

What is reverse transfer/credit program (CWID) at Central Piedmont?
Reverse Transfer program is the awarding of an associate degree to students who previously attended Central Piedmont and had completed/earned 30% (21 college-level credit hours) toward their degree, plus eligible credits transferred from your University, which, when combined meet the degree and graduation requirements at Central Piedmont. It is an "opt in" program through which data is sent twice a year to Central Piedmont from the state of North Carolina and participating universities. Please contact your University Counselor more details as to how to “opt in” to the Reverse Transfer program.
