Companies continue to struggle to find skilled workers. Apprenticeship and other workplace learning programs are solutions to help close the skills gap and give companies a strategy for building talent pipelines. The dual on-the-job work/classroom education focus allows employers to recruit talented individuals who are learning to meet their specific job demands.
Creating your own talent pipeline through a workplace learning partnership with education was the focus of this one-day conference hosted by CPCC on May 21, 2014. More than 150 attendees heard keynote speaker Bill Anderson from MeckEd, employers, educators and others who shared their knowledge and experience in implementing workplace learning, including proven models, best practices and more.
