Study Abroad

Students who currently receive financial aid and participate in a CPCC Study Abroad option may be eligible to receive financial assistance for their academic credits.

Students who plan to study abroad should apply for financial aid in the same manner as students who will be on campus.  Financial aid is not available for travel and lodging expenses or for additional course fees abroad etc.  Partial scholarships for these expenses may be available through the Study Abroad Office.

CPCC offers summer Study Abroad as part of its Foreign Language Program.  Full academic foreign language credits are awarded.  Additional credits may be earned via an approved Independent Study Program in another field.  Immersion language courses are the main thrust of our study abroad program.  Study Abroad offers French in France, German in Germany, and Spanish in Mexico or Costa Rica (varies).
