Notice regarding full COM classes
Permission to register for full classes is given ONLY to students graduating from CPCC that semester. Your status will be verified before permission is granted. If you have email verification from your faculty advisor, we can accommodate your needs more quickly. Any communication should include your Student ID and contact information.
Please do not ask for permission if you are not scheduled to graduate this semester from CPCC. Students who need the class to meet transfer requirements (MCR) are not “scheduled to graduate”.

Notice regarding *available seats*: (After classes have begun)
Permission to register for a class with an available seat may be given at the discretion of the instructor for the class. Full time faculty may enter permission for students in their classes. Part time faculty should send confirmation/approval in the form of email or phone call to Linda White indicating Course, Section and student ID.
Note- It is at the discretion of the faculty member to grant permission if there is a seat available during the schedule adjustment period. Please review the policy below:
- Add Classes - Classes can be added at any point in the registration cycle from the beginning of the published registration period through the first 2 calendar days of the class.
- Drop Classes - Classes can be dropped through the 10% date of the class and will not appear on the student's record. Classes dropped after the 10% date are withdrawals.
The current schedule adjustment policy is available through the CPCC Office of Registration.
