About Re-Careering Services
The Re-Careering Services staff has successfully worked with more than 1,200 individuals using an assessment and competency-based approach. We help unemployed and underemployed professionals and paraprofessionals build a clear job search marketing plan, identify their next career move, and match their individual skills to available job opportunities in the marketplace. Services are free with no enrollment requirements at CPCC.
Re-Careering Services is committed to the support and learning needs of career professionals who may be changing careers, gaining required certifications or licensures, and/or job seeking.
Dr. Dana McDonald has held a range of senior consultant and corporate leadership positions, including senior vice president and director of executive development at Wachovia. She has held various consulting positions focused on leadership and executive assessment, feedback, coaching and development. McDonald also holds a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Maryland.
With more than 15 years of experience in human resources and organizational development, Kelly Cochran has developed expertise in hiring practices, personal assessments, career management and talent development. In her role as a career coach, she has assisted hundreds of professionals in transition. Additionally, Kelly has held various other positions for area banks and consulting firms. Cochran earned a master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from UNC-Charlotte.
